Bylaws
We are a non-profit group. In June of 2006 we revisited and updated our bylaws.
Subcommittees
- Healthy School Committee: The Healthy School Program was initiated at ERS in early 2005 in conjunction with the Calgary Health Region. The goal of the program is to identify the school’s health education needs and develop programs that address these needs and benefit the entire school community.
- Library Committee: Improved reading comprehension is the key goal of our school’s Education Plan. The ERS library committee (consisting of administration, staff and parents) have been working to enhance numerous aspects of our school library for the past 3 years and make it the "hub of the school." These include enlarging the book collection and developing the role of the Teacher Librarian.
- The School Organization and Planning Committee (SOAP): this is a subcommittee of Council members who meet with our Principal, Nancy Crosley on a monthly basis to provide input into issues affecting our children's education at ERS.
